Usher Set to Have Digital Backup Dancers for ‘American Express Unstaged’
Holograms and now “digital backup dancers?” Usher is using a little technology infused fan participation. In partnership with American Express, Usher will perform for their interactive music series “American Express Unstaged” where fans will now have the chance to create customized digital dancers that feature some of Usher’s signature choreography and virtually take the stage in a digital montage while he performs the track “Scream.” The performance will stream live from the Hammersmith Apollo in London, at 4:00 p.m. EST on June 11 and can be viewed on Usher’s VEVO page, VEVO’s mobile app, YouTube, and VEVO’s Xbox Live app.
