This Is a Must-Read Before Taking An Anti-Depressant

.
by Jeanne Ricks
Did you know that 1 in 10 Americans are currently using antidepressants? Most of the people taking them (over 60%) — have done so for at least 2 years. And less than 1/3 of people taking a single antidepressant have seen a mental health professional in the past year (more significantly– over 2/3 of those taking them were not prescribed by an actual mental health professional….they got them through ‘other means’!).
This
video provides you with the facts about psychotropic drugs and the huge profits they create for the pharmaceutical industry. These drugs are not safe and have not been on the market long enough to provide sufficient long term studies regarding their effects. These drugs do cause addiction, however most “doctors” would call this ‘dependence’ because you do not have to take an increasing dose over time. (Apparently, they are completely fine with you being addicted to the same amount of any given drug on a daily basis). Over 1/2 of the people that commit suicide in the United States are prescribed to psychotropic drugs. (i.e.: Paxil (Paroxetine), Zoloft (Sertraline), Prozac, Wellbutrin (Bupropion), Effexor, Seroquil, Ultram (Tramadol), etc.)
Beyond the video above there’s a great article from
NPR Here (which is much less sensational yet, substantiates the clear message that we as a Nation are way over medicated and begs the question ~
why?

Zyprexa should be on this list also. it is an extremely strong antidepressant.. My suggestion is to ask your physician for an alternate substitute that is natural.
